01 / Intro program

Three sessions, one steady start

Beginners rarely need more information. They need a starting point that fits the body they have today. The intro program is exactly three sessions, and each one answers a different question.

  1. 01

    Movement assessment

45 minutes / one to one

A fitness screening, not a medical examination or a diagnosis. We watch how you stand, hinge at the hip, and balance on one leg, then note where your range feels limited. You leave knowing which level suits you now.

  2. 02

    Foundations

    60 minutes / beginner-only group / max eight people

We turn the assessment into practice on the mat. Each shape is demonstrated first, then offered as Level 1 Gentle, Level 2 Steady, or Level 3 Challenging. You pick your level at the start of every class, and stepping down is never treated as a failure.

  3. 03

    Technique review

45 minutes / one to one / plan card included

A couple of weeks later we repeat the screen and compare. You get three numbered cues to keep in mind, plus a personal plan card naming the classes that fit your next month.

04 / What to expect

Arrive ten minutes early. Leave with a plan.

Nothing here requires experience. The studio runs on a simple rhythm: you are met, screened, and then taught in a beginner group of no more than eight people.

Your first visit, in order

  1. 01

    Ten minutes before class

Ring the bell at the studio door on Nyzhniy Val Street and take the lift to the second floor. A teacher signs you in, gives you a locker key, and points you to the changing rooms.

  2. 02

    A short conversation

Before the mat, five quiet minutes: what brought you in, what feels stiff, what you would like to feel easier in six weeks.

  3. 03

    The 45-minute screening

A movement assessment at your own pace. We watch how you stand, squat, hinge, and balance, and note it on a single sheet you keep.

  4. 04

    Your starting level

We agree on Level 1 Gentle, Level 2 Steady, or Level 3 Challenging for your first class, and book the foundations session.

What to wear
Leggings or shorts and a t-shirt. Fitted helps us see alignment. Bare feet or grip socks, plus a light layer for the cool-down.
Props
Mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets sit on the shelf. Buy nothing before your first month ends.
Group size
Beginner classes are capped at eight people. Foundation slots are beginner-only, so nobody enters the room already advanced.
Language
Instruction is in Ukrainian, with English cues and an English-language assessment on request.
Levels
Every class offers Gentle, Steady, and Challenging options, and you choose your level each time you step onto the mat.

If a joint or an old injury needs care, say so before the screening. It is a fitness check, not a medical examination. See the UAH pricing and reserve a slot.
